State of Survival: Survive the Zombie Apocalypse review
State of Survival is a new post-apocalyptic survival game, it's a bit of a genre soup if you will, some people will call it a zombie game while others will call it a survival game while still others will call it a MMORPG. I will not be calling it any of those names here, instead I'll be calling it a cool new post-apocalyptic survival game, that's my way of saying it's pretty unique and it's pretty cool.
The game takes place in the US after a nuclear war, and it's up to you and your band of survivors to lead humanity back to a state of survival. How you do this is up to you, you can be the bandit that raids other survivor groups or the benevolent leader that helps them, it's all up to you.
Gameplay
State of Survival is a fun survival game that has some unique aspects that make it stand out from the crowd. I like the fact that there are multiple starting points that you can choose from. I also like the fact that you can play as a male or female character and the game has a good balance of realism and fantasy.
There are both single player and multiplayer aspects to the game, which you can tell from the title. The single player aspect is the better of the two modes. It is challenging and has some decent replayability because of the randomness of the starting position and the different types of survivors you can play. The multiplayer aspect is not bad either, but it is not going to be as challenging as the single player aspect.
Graphics
State of Survival graphics are 3D but it doesn't have high resolution. Still, the game looks good and runs smooth both on high-end and low-end devices. Game graphics are optimized for the best performance.
Replayability
State of Survival replayability is weak. The game is good, but not enough to re-play it very often. The main problem is that the game is linear. There's no real story to it and while missions are randomly generated, there's not a lot of variety between missions. Now in the game, you're given a number of tasks to complete, but they are all pretty much the same and the missions are very repetitive. I feel like the game could have been a lot better if they had included a story somehow.
Conclusion
State of Survival is one of the better survival games available. It has some unique aspects that make it stand out from the crowd. However, the game is also quite linear and the replayability is not that good. Still, it's a fun game to play with and it has both singleplayer and multiplayer modes. Give it a try.

- Multiplayer
- A lot of missions
