Earlier this year, Facebook/Meta introduced a new social platform named Threads to compete with Twitter (before its rebranding), initially experiencing strong uptake. However, its growth appeared to stall, partially because its availability was limited to a handful of countries, notably excluding European regions.
Today, however, Mark Zuckerberg has announced an expansion, making Threads accessible worldwide. Starting now, anyone can join Threads by creating a new account or by simply linking their existing Instagram credentials. You can download the app on devices running either Android or iOS.
