Google Keep, the popular note-taking app, is getting a much-needed refresh in the form of a two-pane layout that’s rolling out to more tablets. This new two-pane layout is designed to make better use of the extra real estate on larger tablets and makes it easier to quickly scan through lists of notes.

Now, Google Keep is rolling out a two-pane layout designed to make better use of the extra screen real estate on larger tablets, allowing users to quickly scan through lists of notes.

The new two-pane layout splits the user’s notes view into two panes, with a list on the left side of the screen and the content of the currently viewed note on the right. This allows users to easily switch between notes and also provides a better overview of all the notes in a list. This new layout is now rolling out to more tablets, including Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8.

Another feature of Google Keep’s new two-pane layout is its integration with other Google services. For example, users can now access their Google Photos and Google Drive files directly from the app, making it easier to add photos, documents, and other files to their notes.
